**BEAUTIFUL CHAOS IS THE THIRD BOOK IN THE SERIES, SO THIS BOOK WILL CONTAIN UNAVOIDABLE SPOILERS FOR THE PREVIOUS BOOKS**
Their love has just begun. Now the end of days is coming…
Having been disappointed with the last book in the series, my expectations weren’t high for this book. However, it did impress me.
Beautiful Chaos was a lot better than Beautiful Darkness. The plot was a lot more imaginable as part of the series and the characters all seemed to be more realistic.
This book began shortly after the conclusion of the prequel, meaning the series was easy to get back into and understand. The events of the previous book heavily influenced the plot line in this book, which is always good in a series.
The book dealt with the new problems faced by Ethan, Lena and their friends. The end of days is coming and they must try to save everyone. Ethan and Lena are back together in this book, which immediately made the book an improvement upon Beautiful Darkness.
The story shows how life continues whilst the world around them is dying. Everything is changing and they don’t know how to stop it, with Abraham still evil and plotting and more obstacles.
In this book, Link became more involved, he is my favourite character thanks to his humorous comments so I was very pleased with this development. The book also had Ridley as a more main character, during the book she struggles to adjust to her new life as a human.
The book was well written, and the plot was intriguing – though perhaps it did drag on a bit longer than necessary. It still isn’t as good as the first in the series, however I do still enjoy reading the series.
The ending of the book had me in tears, it was a very unexpected ending which has left me very curious for the sequel, Beautiful Redemption. It will be interesting to see how the authors continue the plot and if the sacrifices made will pay off.
I would recommend this book, but only if you have read the rest of the series!
